Anti-Hazing Policy

ANTI-HAZING POLICY

Delta Epsilon Psi Fraternity, Inc. joins other fraternal organizations and institutions of higher education in taking a stance against hazing. In order for Anti-Hazing efforts to succeed, it takes the commitment of all individuals invested in the process of joining a fraternity to make it happen. The brotherhood of Delta Epsilon Psi Fraternity, Inc. has historically maintained that mental, physical, and emotional abuse has no place in our New Member Intake Process (NMIP). Our NMI is intended to build a true brotherhood at the local, regional, and national levels. Acts of hazing or other abuse, threaten to undermine the integrity of the fraternity. The actions of a few individuals could potentially harm the entire organization. For this reason, Delta Epsilon Psi Fraternity, Inc. prohibits any acts of hazing and requires each member affiliated with the fraternity to report any such incidents; failure to do so can subject them to be similarly reprimanded to any brother that engages in such conduct. Reports of such incidents should be made to the National Council.

OFFICIAL POLICY
