The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) is the worldwide leader in funding research to cure type 1 diabetes, an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly and lasts a lifetime. JDRF is the leading funder and advocate of type 1 diabetes science. JDRF’s mission is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. JDRF is also committed to developing new and better treatments that improve the lives of people with type 1 diabetes in the near term and keep them healthy while we advance toward a cure.

Type 1 diabetes is a life threatening autoimmune disease that carries a constant danger to both adults and children making them insulin-dependent for life and creating a persisting threat of devastating complications. It is the reason why devoted individuals and scientist have dedicated their lives to searching for a cure and promoting awareness in the fight against diabetes.

On February 16th, 2011 Delta Epsilon Psi announced its official partnership with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The partnership marked one of the most significant milestone achievements in the history of the fraternity. As partners of a corporate entity, the fraternity’s bounds in supporting its primary philanthropy, type 1 diabetes, have become limitless. The professional status of every signature service event for JDRF has allowed Delta Epsilon Psi to reach out to more individuals on a larger scale, thus resulting in more funds in support of JDRF’s cause.

The brothers of Delta Epsilon Psi are committed to preserving the mission of our predecessors in the fight against juvenile diabetes. Raising over $50,000 annually, Delta Epsilon Psi contributes 100% of its efforts to providing awareness and funds in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation mission to find a cure.
