The Theta Chapter of Delta Epsilon Psi has completed a number of tasks since the commencement of the Spring Semester. We have already hosted our annual even with Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Inc. We have hosted this event every year for the past three years. The event, called "Cakin with Depsi", is hosted on-campus with involvement from numerous organizations. Every organization that attends bakes a cake. Several games are played while the cakes are being judged for "Best Overall Cake". The event was successful as we had an extremely good turnout from various councils. Additionally, we just co-hosted a Vigil for Haiti with several organizations from our Council. In light of the recent catastrophic events in Haiti, we believed the needed to be shown towards the cause. Believe so, we raised over $1000 for donation to the Haiti Relief Funds. We have much greater plans for the semester as we plan on hosting our 3rd Annual Sugar- Free Bowl. We are hoping to exceed our donations of $4000 from last year. 

 

In relation to our surrounding community, we have been completing our on-going service and work through Service of Stampede as well as Road-Side Clean ups. On a social aspect, we are anticipating our annually even B.A.D Boys Party which we host with Sigma Lambda Beta & Alpha Phi Alpha. We have just submitted our nominations for Greek Awards at the University of South Florida. In combination of Individual Brothers & as a Chapter we have been nominated for 10 awards. Some of which include Greek Man of the Year, Council President of the Year as well as Excellence in Philanthropy & Service awards. We believe with the strong background & efforts put forth by the brothers of the Theta Chapter of Delta Epsilon Psi we have a great chance in succeeding in acquiring several of these awards. 

 

We have several brothers graduating at the end of this semester and we wish them the best of luck in all their future tasks.
